INES has participated this week in the kick-off meetings of the new PIARC cycle (2024-2027) in Paris. As a member of the Technical Committee on Bridges (TC4.2) within the Strategic Area of Resilient Infrastructure (ST4), INES attended three days of meetings in which the roadmap for this new cycle was established.
The working groups were defined for the next four years, and the seminars and conferences that the committee will promote in the area of bridge management have been scheduled.
In addition, the committee took advantage of the kick-off meetings to visit the Normandy and Tancarville bridges, landmarks of European engineering, with Michel Virlogeux and the concessionaire CCI.
