INES Ingenieros Consultores participated in the IX Civil Engineering National Congress, held at the Colegio de Caminos Canales y Puertos of Madrid on February 19th-20th, 2024. The company had the honor of moderating the number 5 session, dedicated to the application of Artificial Intelligence in the civil engineering field. During this session, INES has presented an innovative case study involving the use of a digital twin of the La Marota high-speed viaduct, on the Córdoba-Málaga line, for predictive monitoring, demonstrating its leadership in the development and application of cutting-edge technologies in civil engineering.

In addition to the case presented by INES, other outstanding case studies were shared during the congress. They included the digital twins application for water quality control in Valencia, presented by Omnium, and the use of a digital twin of the RMTS railway system for railway safety and interoperability studies, presented by CEDEX. GMV and McKinsey&Partners, for their part, highlighted groundbreaking applications of satellite images for land-use planning and vegetation control on power lines, highlighting the growing role of technology in improving and optimizing civil infrastructure.
