The PinkBlack team from Villaeuropa School in Móstoles has won the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) National Award and will represent Spain in the International Finals in Massachusetts.
With 10 youngsters, 7 girls and 3 boys, from 5th and 6th grade of Primary School, PinkBlack stood out in the national phase of the competition, held at the University of Alicante. Winning the first national prize in the Values category, the team will travel to Massachusetts to compete in the international finals from June 7-9 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
During the competition, PinkBlack has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the program’s values, including discovery, teamwork, inclusion, innovation, impact and fun, commitments shared with INES INGENIEROS. Their presentation impassioned the jury, highlighting their knowledge, joy and complicity.
The team managed to qualify for the national final as third in the regional final held at the Polytechnic University of Madrid last February 17.
This success has been possible thanks to the support of sponsors and the involvement of the school’s management team. We wish them the best of luck for the international final, where they will face more than 70 teams of different nationalities in June in Massachusetts.
Congratulations to the Winners!
