The Government of Grenada, on Monday February 9th, 2015, signed the contract for the construction supervision of the Lance and Hubble bridges in Gouyave, St. John’s.

The contract was signed with the consulting firm, INES Ingenieros Consultores, of Spain. This firm was awarded the contract following an internationally competitive bidding process.

The firm is familiar with working in the Caribbean having worked in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Haiti and Puerto Rico.

The objective of this contract is to provide technical support to Government to review and improve the designs; prepare the tender documents and supervise the actual construction of the bridges. The contract is for a period of sixteen (16) months and construction works are expected to start in the last quarter in 2015.
