INES Ingenieros celebrates the success of its intervention in the rehabilitation of the iconic Cargadero de Dícido, in Castro Urdiales (Cantabria), an emblematic project for the preservation of industrial heritage that has received the Accésit al Patrimonio de la Obra Pública award granted by the Fundación Caminos in its 2024 edition.
On November 18, the Cantabria Demarcation of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos organized a technical day that brought together more than 100 professionals to analyze this unique work. INES Ingenieros has assumed the project management, in addition to the previous studies, the basic project, and the construction project, coordinating the technical challenges, structural conservation, and landscape integration of this historic metal structure, originally built in 1938 and damaged by time and the marine environment.
