Erbil, The City Where it all Began

The Erbil Citadel is a busy mound, and the historic center of the city of Erbil in Iraq. Some sources suggest that the site is the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the world.
In 2014, UNESCO chose Erbil Citadel as a World Heritage Site.
