The promoter ONDE 2000 has built a residential complex of social housing in Equatorial Guinea in which it is planned to build a large number of modular blocks of apartments, according to ten different typologies: these are the “Ibiza, Málaga, Córdoba, Alicante, Valencia, Salamanca, Madrid, Toledo, Granada and Mallorca” type blocks. This developer has contracted INES Ingenieros Consultores to draw up the complete structural project for each of the ten types of buildings (descriptive and calculation reports, plans and detailed measurements for each type).

The structure of those ten types of residential buildings was designed to be built on site according to the following details:

  • First floor: 20 cm non-structural floor slab on gravel facing on first floor;
  • 1st to 6th floors: 25+5 cm waffle slabs with 80 cm spacing (six buildings) or one-way slabs of prestressed half-joists with 60 cm spacing (remaining four buildings);
  • A roof of dovecote partition walls over a structural slab, either waffle or one-way;
  • Surface foundations consisting of isolated and combined footings for the concrete columns and spread footings for the reinforced concrete walls;
  • On-site reinforced concrete columns with rectangular cross-section.
